Hawaii Vacation Testimonials

November 21, 2008 - Aloha Paul, I wanted to write and thank you for your assisstance in booking our vacation. It was a time in our lives  that was full of contradictions,a beautiful paradise vacation  one one hand, and at home, much grief.I do believe it restored my soul. The islands hold such beauty and solace. We spent much of our time on Maui in areas that were not inhabited, just us and the sea.The resort on Maui was nice and very accommodating with the kitchen and living area. This was our 2nd trip to this Island. Then we hopped to the big Island.I do believe I had read that the Outrigger here had been renovated. It was very evident. This resort, although so close to (city) seemed isolated, therefore making it peaceful and so relaxing, yet so convenient to shops and dining!I would have to say my favorite of the 2.The snorkeling right next door was awesome. We had a hard time leaving the area to adventure. There was so much history on the big island as well that you don't get on Maui, very interesting.I am forwarding your name on to a friend who seems very interested in the Islands.I don't believe there is any way to be dissapointed! Mahalo, Tim and Erin Mcduffee

November 15, 2008 -  Aloha Malia! Sadly we returned home yesterday Our flight and rental car reservations went without a hitch, thank you so much for your help in planning our trip. We had a blast. Monday we kayaked over to Captain Cook's Monument to snorkel, that was an experience that will never leave us! It was so hidden and so beautiful.   We got to the airport in time to change our clothes and board the plane. (huffing and puffing, lol) We covered most of the Big Island, hiked out at night to see the lava flow, missed the Volcano National Park and Champagne Ponds completely, but it gives us a reason to return and you will be our first contact! The island is so beautiful and there is so much to see. My son really connected with the locals, he loved it. We stayed in Waikoloa, one 'must see' for people who travel through that area are the Petroglyphs, they are mazing! Again, thank you so much, your travel agency will be the only recommended one from us! Barb Petaluma, California

November 13, 2008 - Hi Kalei, Aloha from home: Had a Perfect trip......Thanks P.S.   I was able to get the rental car company to refund $100.00 of the $179 they tried to get from us. Boogied at Hanalei in Kauai in 7ft perfect waves. AWESOME! I'm going to move to Kauai next year when I retire. Charlotte and Colin...

November 11 2008 - Ashley was great. We look forward to our first visit there. Hope we use you again.

November 10, 2008 - Kalei was great. She was very informative and very responsive from the first time I put a request online to answering my emails and phone calls while I was trying to figure out the best option.

November 9, 2008 -Aloha Angelica We just can't thank you enough for all that you did to make our trip a wonderful experience that we won't forget.   Everything was perfect!!! From the minute we were seated in first class we knew that it was going to be the best trip ever. We love the Mai Tai's!  We just can't believe how beautiful all the islands are. You are right; it is paradise. We have around 800 pictures to look at and wish we were still there. We were on the go and did as much as we could.  We did find time to just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and spend some time in the beautiful crystal clear ocean.  We loved every resort that you picked out for us and the champage was a nice touch at two of the resorts plus the credit from you at the last resort.   We did make a few changes once we arrived and that was renting a car for the day on Oahu and driving to the north shore and changing from the jeep to a convertible on the big island. We were having trouble with the suitcases and golf clubs in the jeep so opted for the car. We were 1 day too early on Oahu for the big waves but we really enjoyed seeing the pipeline and sunset beach. We were able to see 20-foot waves on the north shore of Kauai and wow, we were impressed.  There were a few disappointments on Kauai but only because of the weather. We weren't able to see the canyon due to the rain and fog or book a cruise to see the Napali Coast because of bad weather but we were able to golf and see other sites so it was still a great time.  Thought you might enjoy seeing our picture so you can put a face to our names.  We are already talking about our next trip to the islands.  Thank you again for all the hard work and for making our anniversary trip one that we will never forget. Roger and Julie

November 1, 2008 - Aloha Kalei, Thank you so much for making our vacation to Hawaii so special.  We were able to see most of the things that we had planned on our itinerary and the weather was perfect.  The lodging that you set up for us was exquisite especially on Kaua’i and Maui.  At Turtle Bay we had expected connecting rooms on the beach; we had separate rooms on the second floor of the main hotel.  Was my expectation incorrect?  Otherwise, all was wonderful.  On Maui they upgraded us to a suite on the sixth floor with a wrap around balcony that had a view of the pool and the beach. It was truly a pleasure doing business with you and your company. Mahalo, Ed Bush

Oct. 30, 2008 - Kalei: This trip is turning out much better than we expected and everything we had hoped for. The Outrigger Lae Nani is great and Kaua'i is the most beautiful place I have ever been -- and  my wife and I have traveled all over the world. Great job, thanks very much.-- Mike

October 26, 2008 - Aloha Bruce, forgot something in my previous email. We spent many weeks researching before our last trip to Hawaii and our experience with the local travel agents, also those who call themeselves Hawaii-Experts, was not good at all. Then we found your agency via internet and booked our international flights ourselves and had a great and not all to expensive vacation. In the end it was much cheaper than anything the Hawaii-Experts around here could offer. I am just wondering if you are represented anywhere in Germany or in Europe already. I believe that travellers from here should be able to have benefit from your speciallized services and that you could also profit from more travellers from Europe. If you are not represented here yet then maybe we should discuss as I would be happy to be your local point of contact on this side of the world. Mahalo! Pete

Oct. 25, 2008 - This is in response to an email I received. Angelica helped plan a trip for 9 members of our family for next March, 2009. She was able to cordinate air from Phoenix, AZ and San Jose, CA and Sacramento, CA so we could all take the same flight from Los Angeles to Hawaii and back. We booked two condos at Outrigger Waipouli Beach for a week. She is an angel! Thanks, Jeanne Boone

Oct. 23, 2008 - Tara I wish to convey my feeling that Tara (the agent who dealt with my booking) is marvellous!, an excellent representative and certainly an asset to your company. I received sincerely friendly and unjaded service, and it was a real pleasure. Give her a promotion!! Thanks Hawaii Aloha

Oct. 21, 2008 - Kalei: As I expected, we have reached the sad part of our trip. Liz and I are at HNL waiting for our flight back to the mainland. Everything you set up for our trip to Kuau'i was terrific, more than what we had hoped. The Lae Nani was flawless. I travel about 40 percent of the time and almost never have hotels that provide a lot less get everything right. The service was flawless and everything worked exactly as it was supposed to -- which I can assure you just about never happens. For example, even the Hilton Hawaiian Village (where we stayed the night before we left for Kaua'i) had their little problems (misplaced our bags between the valet parking and our room, they had to call us twice to straighten it out).  From our very first moment off the plane, Kaua'i was simply magical and beautiful. The rental car was smooth and the airline connections you set up seem to have worked correctly (Island Air checked our two checked bags through to IAD, so we don't know about all of the trip yet). We got to the Lae Nani a couple of hours before check-in, which was fine. We asked the lady at the desk to recommend a place where we could get some real Hawaiian food. There was not one on their list because she said so few visitors request it. She sent us to a little family-owned storefront place that had great food, poi and all. The girl who waited on us (her dad is the owner) seemed shocked that folks from the mainland would seem to enjoy their food. It was a great lunch and we enjoyed meeting the folks there. We went to the luau at Smith's and really enjoyed it. The food was great and we really enjoyed the show.  I thought it was particularly interesting to hear "Mr. Smith"  discuss the business before the dinner. There is a place in Rapid City, SD that has sort of a cousin operation (http://www.mountrushmoretours.com/chuckwagon.html ) except in cowboy. We stopped by there last year during the out season and had a chance to meet the guy who owns it. I would have loved to introduce Mr. Smith and the guy from Ft. Hays.  We enjoyed the morning Blue Dolphin snorkeling tour to the Na Pali coast. The water was pretty rough that day and it was raining on the coast when we arrived (as the boat captain warned us) so we will probably have to come back for a better look. The snorkeling was terrific and we got to see turtles and dolphins from the boat. We drove around the northern part of the island to Le'e beach on Saturday (it was pretty crowded because the weather was nice) and as far as we could go the other way, to Polihale State Park, on Sunday.  We went back to Le'e beach yesterday. It was raining off-and-on, but we had the whole place almost to ourselves. We thought the chickens running loose all over the island was pretty cool.  Well, you set us up with the best vacation of our lives, and we have traveled all over Europe and throughout the US.  Thank you very much for the superb service. I will hang on to your e-mail and get back in touch when we can afford to come back to Hawaii. Thank you once again very much. Mike

Oct. 17, 2008 - Tara, I will start with Maui, because that is the part of the trip that you worked so hard on.  I’m sure you remember that Tamara was hesitant about the Hyatt Regency because of a couple of unfavorable reviews.  Ultimately we felt that the price you got us, along with your statements that you had stayed there recently and found the hotel to be very nice, were enough reason to book the Hyatt.  So the verdict is now in, and it was EXCELLENT.  The whole Maui experience was great, but the most impressive part was the wonderful staff and accommodations at the Hyatt.  Not one negative.  The room was great.  The staff was great.  The pool was great.  The view was great.  The restaurants were great. The bars were great.  I could go on . . .  I believe the thing that sets them apart for me is that the entire staff is gracious and friendly without seeming fawning or snooty.  They were all very professional but with a friendly and courteous air. We really did have a wonderful vacation.  I was sick for one day, but that is really part of the Kona story so I’ll get back to that.  The main purpose for the email is to thank you for your work and patience with us.  You patiently led us to the right decisions, but without ever a push or a sigh.  Thank you again for all your help; you get all the credit for this one. Now for Kona – also a lot f fun, but for different reasons.  As you know, we arrived on Wednesday evening, but my son Chris (the Ironman), his wife, and their two young daughters arrived the previous Sunday.  They had managed to pick up a 24 hour bug and a cold on the plane and they spent the first part of the trip passing it around among themselves.  The day we arrived, Chris had spent all day in bed with fever and nausea.  We arrived late (airline issues) so they were in bed when we got there.  Early the next morning when we came down for breakfast, Chris was just coming up the beach from a swim in the ocean in preparation for the Saturday competition.  As he was coming out of the water in front of the beach house, he cut his big toe on a rock.  We had a helicopter tour scheduled for 9:15, so we slapped a bandage on him and took him with us for the tour.  The tour was awesome, and afterward I took Chris to a doctor to see about his foot.  They put ten stitches in his big toe (a few extra because they knew he was going to be abusing it), AND he had a temperature of 1030!!  This was Thursday afternoon, before the race on Saturday!  That’s how I ended up sick on our first full day in Maui.  I caught the 24 hour flu from them. But things got better form there.  By Friday evening his temperature was down to 99.1, and nothing was going to stop him from going on with the race.  He finished in 11 hours and 16 minutes, which is not as good as he would have done if he was 100%, but at least he was well enough to compete.  It would have killed him to have trained so hard for so long only to get to the world championship and not be able to compete.  He finished in the top half of all competitors - not bad considering his condition and the fact he was competing against the top 1700 endurance racers in the world, representing 44 countries. Well, that got a little wordy, but it was a long story.  The main purpose here is to tell you how much we appreciate the time and effort you spent with us to make the trip really special.  I am copying this email to the owner of your company, so he will know it too. Now then, I have a friend at work that I have been telling about the trip and he is considering something similar between Christmas and New Year.  They were looking at Mexico, but I think we can sell him.  I had told him that I would give him your contact information, but I think this will be a more fun way to do it.  I think you should include a proposal in your initial email to him.  The trip would be for him and his wife.  Assume that he would leave on Dec. 26, and return on Jan.3.  Hopefully the Hyatt still has the best price, but whatever makes the best package.  Also include round trip coach class tickets from Nashville. loha, and Thank You.  Oh, and we are planning to return to Maui at some point, so keep us in mind if you see any great specials coming along in February. Gary Quinn

October 13, 2008 - Aloha, I want to pass along my appreciation for the job that Isabel did in putting together our trip to Hawaii. She was very pleasant and easy to deal with, efficient and thorough. Our trip went off without a hitch. The accommodations were terrific. Every aspect of the journey, from our departure to our return, went very smooth. Having never done business with your company in the past, there was a little apprehension on my part as to what to expect. I can say that your company exceeded our expectations. We were all very pleased with the results. I will not hesitate to recommend Isabel and Hawaii-Aloha.Com to anyone considering a trip to Hawaii. Thanks again Dan.

October 12, 2008 - Good Morning Kalei, Vinston and I would like to thank you for all of your help before, during, and after our vacation.  The trip to Maui was unbelievable!!!!!!!  I can hardly put it into words.  We absolutely loved the hotel and the fact that we were not right smack in the middle of the busy comings and goings of a tourist area.  The Jeep was a blast and very convenient.  We loved driving along the coast to get to the various events that we went to.  I especially liked the fact that in the hotel room was a journal of people (even some comments from kids and their experience) who had stayed in that room.  I imagine they were in all of the rooms.  I made it my business to add my little comments and tips for an already wonderful Maui.  I truly could not have done a better job putting it all together as well as you did.  You didn't miss a beat ;o).  We hope to return to Hawaii in the very near future and will not hesitate to have you assist us again. Thanks again.  Your very satisfied and new best customers Vinston and Debra ps not to mention that although we had several connections they even ended being great, if you can imagine that.  The layovers were very brief.

October 12 , 2008 - Hi Kalei: Just wanted to drop you a line and say thanks for the wonderful itinerary that you planned for our recent visit to Hawaii.  All the flight schedules were coordinated beautifully; we never had a lot of down time at the various airports; cars were always ready and the Outrigger was a lovely facility. We have a wonderful time; the weather was absolutely perfect! I have a friend who is considering a Hawaii vacation and I will recommend you to her.   True outstanding customer service! Mahola, Kris

October 7, 2008 - Kalei, I just wanted to take a minute and let you how things went with our trip.  Everything was great, all the resevations you made were just as we spoke about- there was absolutly no problems with anything...Perfect!.  Luckly we had no problems with our planes or our luggage!!  The hotels were beautiful and the staff that worked them were very accomadating in everyway.  Everyone we ran across in the trip was very welcoming.  Of course both Islands were very beautiful and different from one another .  We saw and experienced sooo much.  Again, Everything was perfect, you did an excellent job and I will be more than happy to refer you and your company to friends and family who might be going to Hawaii. Thank you sooo much again and god bless    Elliot Usewick

October 3, 2008 - Hello Abby, Hawaii was great and we CAN NOT wait to go back!!!  Everything at the resort was wonderful, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect honeymoon!  When we scheduled our dinner cruise they didn't have it down as a dinner, they had a cocktail cruise or something.  But we have confirmation paperwork with us that stated it was a dinner cruise and that is what we got.  We did snorkeling, which was awesome and did some shopping in Lahaina.  I really liked the shopping area down there.  The Road to Hana was amazing and I would definately do that again.  It's a long drive but it is so beautiful!  All in all we had an amazing trip and can't wait to visit again!  We will definately visit Hawaii again.  I would like to go to Maui again or even another island.  Is there such a thing as the "off" season where it might be a little cheaper to fly there :)  The honeymoon was a gift, next time it's all on us :)Thank you so much for all your help in the planning and reservations! And also for answering all of my questions!!! Tara Berg

Sept. 20, 2008 - Kalei,    Hi, we just returned from Hawaian vacation and wanted to say thank you for all your help. It was a dream come true for to us visit your state and you had so much to do with making it come true. Bless you.We stayed in Honolulu for 4 nights at the Aqua Island Colony resort.I must confess that I wasn't sure what to expect since we were operating on a budget request. But it was to our surprise a quite nice place. The renovations that had been ongoing for sometime were almost complete with no inconvienece to us. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. We would recommend it to those on a budget.   We also stayed 5 nights in Maui at the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort which we found to be our favorite. The facility itself was wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable with a wonderful veiw and the staff was very accomadataing especilly on our last day. We especially liked the fact that it was so close to Lahaina town and well within walking distance. We would certainly recommend this place and would love stay  again should we get the chance to return. All went well with airline connects and all flights were great as was the arrangements with the cars. Thank you so much for your help. You truly do live in paradice. We will be happy to recommend your services to others that may looking to visit the islands. Aloha and mahalo !!  Terry and Connie Steger.

Our family will be celebrating two anniversaries and one birthday (our granddaughter)...so this trip coming up is a very special time for our family being together. This is a once in a life time trip for our family to do together. We are looking forward to this summer.

Sept. 8, 2008 - Hi Abby, We had a great time. We did the Sunlight Tours on a boat with Captain China – Michael to swim with the Dolphins and really enjoyed this. He started us off with a Hawaiian prayer. We did the Blue?? Helicopter tour over the volcano out of Helo.  We went to the spiritual vortex to mediate and hike on Waipio Valley. We went to the Macademia nut factor. We enjoyed our lovely b-day dinner at the Four Seasons. The Fairmont was great and relaxing and perfect that we included the breakfast in our package. Thank you for all your help. It was truly lovely and memorable. Maybe next year!!

Sept.7, 2008 - Hi Kalei, Just wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful vacation in Hawaii. Each island was different and provided for new and exciting experiences. The boys had a ball surfing, snorkeling and playing on the beaches.  The erupting volcano was really amazing - we walked out at night with flashlights to see it!   The accomodations were great and in great locations.  Because it was our anniversary, each hotel provided champagne and/or additional upgrades. The Hilton even put us on the executive floor with additional privileges. We also were lucky that all of our filghts were on time and easy. Thank you for all of your efforts on our behalf.
Best wishes, Sara
